    @Kris

    Well, to implement the 'transfer units' thing you could always make the WW2 game one large release for free with the Spanish Civil War as the campaign, which would give players the POUM (Russian units that carry over), International Brigade Veterans (UK/USA/French carry over units) and either Condor Legion or Blue Division (Axis carryovers). Yet release the actual war in DLC format starting with like Poland vs Germany 1939 Blitzkrieg, France/UK vs Germany 1940's Blitzkrieg, Finland vs USSR Winter War, Germany vs USSR 1941 Blitzkrieg, then split it into the African Campaign, Mediterranean and so on and so fourth.

    I guess you could make it so each purchase gives you another core unit type, like 1939 would give the player access to the Polish Paratroopers for future UK campaigns. 1940's would give the UK French soldiers and Axis Vichi France units like the Charlemagne Division. Winter War would give Axis Division Nord and the USSR would get Winter War Veterans. Essentially by owning the DLC's your unit roister would grow larger with each purchase without being historically inaccurate.  Suppose it's a cheap marketing ploy but I think it'd be nice since it encourages people to own the entire game and it also creates a nice feeling of accomplishment where you can carry your favorite units over into other games.

    Also, I'd love to throw ideas out there! WW2 hex games are my favorite and I really want to make my own so it'd be cool just getting experience. If you want my discord it's Sepp #0909

    Huge fan of the series, I own them all on android! Question, would you be interested in some help regarding the WW2 game?

    I'm pretty good at pixel art and I'd really enjoy just working on a game (since i'm a somewhat new programmer but skilled none the less) for the sake of experience. Also, I'm somewhat a history buff and I love tabletop gaming, so I could suggest loads of ideas and concepts that'd make the game interesting and more intense, especially if we're dealing with WW2.

    Below is a sample of some art I threw together in a few minutes. I know they're larger than the average work for this series, but I feel like WW2 would be more tactical so you'd need to differentiate between units and weapon types, I could go into detail if interested. Also rather than just doing one game, why not make it split up by years with campaigns so you can focus in on the vehicles, technology and factions with fleshed out support. Like, a Spanish Civil War game where you can recruit units from the Republic (CNT, POUM, Republican Militia) and the Nationalist Alliance (Carlists, Falange, Italian volunteers, Kondor Legion). Also, Winter War!!! WINTER WARRR!!!

    Also, maybe you could add in a system so if you owned the previous game and have/had it installed you can import units from one game to another. Sorta like Panzer General but you keep the experienced troops. For instance, playing the Winter War Campaign allows you to level up troops, and in 1941 during Barbarossa you could recruit your Finnish Units via Division Nord in the Continuation War forces, as for the USSR it'd simply be importing the same units with just newer gear. Maybe use a RNG to generate distinct names so the player feels more involved.

    But yeah, totally hit me up if you need any help! I want to just get experience working on indie games so i can make one eventually!
