I like how the flags represent the nationality of the units in the Great War game, but in those large battles, with many units from different nationalities, it can sometimes get confusing which units belong to which country. What do you guys think of adding an option to display simpler flags? For example or Entente units show a British flag and all Central Powers show the German flag? Or does anyone have any better ideas to resolve this?

1. Do flags create performance issues when larger numbers of troops enter the field?
2. Do flags as they exist now limit the game in any way?Personal Thoughts:
If clarification is desired then i’d rather have a toggle switch making all my flags the same color. Such as Light Blue for my guys.
I’ll be adding an option to use simplified flags in the menu. Flags don’t create any performance issues. The option is there for anyone who, for example, creates a large sandbox battle with units from multiple nations, and has trouble recognising who’s who.
The default option will be off so this won’t impact players who aren’t interested in this option.
