I would love to see some pixelated blood by the sword. All the Pixel Soldiers games have focused mainly on ranged warfare.. and ranged warfare has no honor. It would be cool to see countless pixelated soldiers fighting in complete melee battles and see them die with glory. I guess I’m exaggerating my idea a lot now. But, who doesn’t love the medieval era? Gothic knights, Swiss pikemen, Mamluks, Housecarls and Templars all duking it out in a battlefield.

Not bad idea. But for this game must have formations, more shooting range, and cavalry, that could attack from long distance. And new army and morale gameplay, like only some of units fight for you, other fight for their lord, and if he die, or don’t1 fight too long, they can just leave battle, or go fighting by their oven will.

Thanks for the ideas guys. Pre-musket eras are definitely something I want to take a look at. There will need to be some fundamental changes to the gameplay first though. Please let me know if you have other thoughts on this. Pikemen with the ability to fix enemy units maybe?

By fixing enemy units do you mean locking them in prolonged melee combat?

Yeah, something like that. Just an idea so far.

That’s what I expect. You should take some inspiration from Musket Smoke. It’s a game only available for iOS and it has some pretty cool mechanics.

Thanks! Looks interesting. I don’t have an iOS device, so I’ll have to make do with YouTube videos.
